Rajagopal is the Senior Vice President / Head, Mission Software & Services LOB groupings of ST Engineering, a global technology, defence and engineering group with a diverse portfolio of businesses across the aerospace, smart city, defence and public security segments. Appointed to this role on 1 May 2021, Rajagopal drives the Group’s growth for mission critical Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I) systems in defence, public safety, and smart city domains, for both local and international markets. He is a strong advocate of developing and growing people, and takes pride in creating an engaging corporate culture to propel the organisation forward.

Rajagopal sits on the Board of Directors of MiyaHealth Pte Ltd and a member of Teck Whye School Advisory Committee.
Rajagopal started his career with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in 1992 and was awarded the State Medal, Public Administration Medal – Silver (Military) in 2018. In his last appointment in the SAF, he served as the Chief Signal Officer. He was also the Army Chief Information Officer and pioneered the Army Digitalisation efforts, in line with the larger Public Sector Transformation effort. Rajagopal also had the opportunity to serve in United States Joint Forces Command, of which he was involved in the Concept Development and Experimentation with US and Coalition forces.

Rajagopal holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from National University of Singapore as well as a Post Graduate Diploma from Temasek Defence Systems Institute.
