Rajat leads the Data Science team for ST Engineering's Group Engineering Centre for Predictive Maintenance. His team builds novel solutions based on historical data, using machine learning techniques to help avoid operation disruptions and unplanned down time. Rajat has led in producing several successful predictive maintenance projects for customers in the commercial transport and public security sectors.

An inventor with many IPs in the analytics space, Rajat has been awarded patents from the USA patent office. He has also published multiple technical Data Science papers in international conferences and journals like IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), IJoART (International Journal of Advancements in Research), DSKD (Data Science and Knowledge Discovery – HP Inc). He recently represented ST Engineering at the World Data and Analytics Show and Data Innovation Summit APAC 2023 as a keynote speaker.

Rajat graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology with the Star of Excellence award (Best Outgoing Student of the University). He also received his Master of Technology in Knowledge Engineering (Data Science & AI) from National University of Singapore. He was awarded Best Young Scientist National Award 2018 and Best Outstanding Scientist National Award 2020.
